The Isleton Bridge running along Highway 160, north of Isleton, will re-open today. The re-opening was planned for Friday, but was pushed back a day by the California Department of Transportation.
This work is part of an $8.4 million project to repaint three Sacramento Delta bridges. The Steamboat Slough Bridge south of Courtland was re-opened last fall on Nov. 15, while the Paintersville Bridge, also south of Courtland, was re-opened on May 4.
Detour signs are in place until the re-opening. North or southbound motorists traveling on State Highway 160 are advised to plan ahead and factor in additional travel times.
