Musical Theatre Company Comes to Delta

The Delta Music & Theatre Company (DMTC) has officially announced their formation today, and will be auditioning soon for their first production of Luigi Pirandello's Six Characters in Search of an Author.

Spokesperson Maureen Moore said, "we are very excited about this project because Theatre has always played a big part of  California history, especially in these river communities that were planted during the gold rush era."

"We have Steven Masone as our resident artistic director and producer who started Sacramento's first Dinner Theatre many years ago and his shows attendance records still stand for Dinner Theatres." Ms. Moore said. Steven has a long and successful background in Theatre and entertainment."

"We are really excited about Steven's "Pro Am Project" (PPA) which will entail the genesis of a performing Arts program coupled with a culinary program." said Ms. Moore. She also stated that a guest Theatre Company is invited to bring their hit Broadway Musical to open the season for a fundraising run of several weeks in a collaborative effort so the summer season can start shortly. When all the details are worked out soon, they will announce the Company and the Show with dates and immediately start taking reservations.
